Algumas gravações aqui são históricas, como a do Paco de Lucía + Al Di Meola + McLaughlin. Ou Yo-Yo Ma tocando Jacob do Bandolim tão docemente. Ou a honra de ter a incrível superbanda Snarky Puppy mandando um baião supercompetente. Sem contar a delicadeza britânica do Eden-Stell Guitar Duo tocando nosso paulistaníssimo Bellinati, ou, direto das ruas de Barcelona, o Trío Gótico interpretando Gismonti. Ou músicos como Michi Ruzitschka, que se mudam para o Brasil perseguindo seu sonho de Música Brasileira. É interessante também sentir como os venezuelanos do Gurrufío misturam suas raizes musicais originais com a ginga brasileira. Enfim, a música do mundo todo!

🇬🇧 This episode is dedicated to the non-Brazilian artists that got influenced by Brazilian Music during their careers. We bring historical recordings by Paco de Lucía + Al Di Meola + McLaughlin. Or Yo-Yo Ma playing Jacob do Bandolim in such a sweet way. Or being honored by the Snarky Puppy superband playing a baião in their supergroovy style. Not to mention the delicate interpretation of Eden-Stell Guitar Duo for a Bellinati standard, or, directly from the streets of Barcelona, Trío Gótico with their own Gismonti. Or artists as Michi Ruzitschka that move their life to Brazil just to seek their Brazilian Music dream. It is also interesting to feel how Venezuelan group Gurrufío mix their native musical influences with the Brazilian swing. Music from all over the world!

🇬🇧 The voice, when freed from the song lyrics, becomes an instrument. Of the kind that unleashes the most incredible possibilities. The queen of the “bá-tchicum-dum” style is undoubtedly Joyce — she has more than 30 recordings like this. But there is also the groovy-maracatu side with Grupo Feijão de Corda. Also the highly lyrical version of a Jacob do Bandolim composition adapted by Nó em Pingo D’Água. And since the whole world wants to play Brazil, we also invited german singer Céline Rudolph and Los Angeles Guitar Quartet with Luciana Souza to galvanize it all with a for export label. A selection to enjoy with eyes closed.

A rainha do estilo “bá-tchicum-dum” é Joyce, que tem mais de 30 gravações belíssimas do gênero. Mas há também a faceta groovy-maracatu com o Grupo Feijão de Corda. E também a versão super lírica que o Nó em Pingo D’Água fez para uma composição de Jacob do Bandolim.
